Another tournament win saw Victoria Azarenka continue her climb, jump up two spots to 5th, while Sam Stosur exchanged with her, dropping to 7th. Two other flips at the bottom of the top 10 saw Li leapfrog Dementieva into 8th and Schiavone passing her countrywoman Pennetta into 10th.

Wozniacki played a tough match against Wickmayer in the quarters, but cruised through her last two matches against a pretty weak field.

Azarenka absolutely crushed her opposition in Marbella, winning all the sets she played, with the closest 6-3. It was a very weak collection of opponents, but still an incredbily impressive show.

Might as well just name this one the Marina Erakovic award, as she wins it again. The Kiwi won her third straight tournament at Jackson, beating Yung-Jun Chan (112) and Ajla Tomljanovic (122) to win the title. She's climbed nearly 100 places in the last month, an incredible rise.

Suarez Navarro didn't play this week, and lost a big chunk of her ranking after dropping a final from last year's Marbella. That event saw her beat Roberta Vinci (38) and Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez (27), among others, and without those wins she comes perilously close to falling out of the top 100.
