Some changes in the bottom of the top 10, as Sam Stosur drops two places to 9th, with Na Li and Elena Dementieva moving past her. Francesca Schiavone dopped out of the top 10, with her fellow Italian Flavia Pennetta moving up to take her place.

No WTA tournaments in this Fed Cup week, as Russia cruised to a semifinal win, and the Czechs needed the final rubber to beat out Belgium.

Kvitova anchored her sides win in the Fed Cup, as she won both her singles matches, taking out Yanina Wickmayer (22) and Kirsten Flipkens (71). This gave her a nice boost back into the top 15,and it wouldn't be too surprising to see her climb into the top 10 soon.

The 20-year-old Russian won a strong ITF title in Joburg this week, the biggest result of her career to date. En route to the win, she defeated Eva Birnerova (154), Anne Keothavong (133) and Petra Cetkovska (120), lifting her into the top 200.

Daniela Hantuchova SVK (37), Down 7
Hantuchova made a good semifinal run at Charleston this week last year, but takes a hard drop after a really poor showing in a home Fed Cup tie, as she lost both her matches, against Ana Ivanovic (19) and Jelena Jankovic (20).

Castano suffered a surprising loss in the first round of the Casablanca ITF event, losing to a local player Lina Bennani (595) very decisively, sending her well away from the top 200.
