Riser of the Week (top 100):
Robin Haase NED (38), Up 7
Haase didn't do much this week, getting a win against Flavio Cipolla (160) before losing to Gael Monfils (11), but the Dutchman's rise came as a result of dropping a very poor challenger result from last year, where he lost to Noam Okun (361) in the first round.

Riser of the Week (other):
Joao Souza BRA (222), Up 42
Souza won the Santos challenger with some solid wins against some solid regulars of the South American swing, including Andres Molteni (218), Ricardo Mello (114) and Diego Junqueira (159).

Dropper of the Week (top 100):
Thiemo de Bakker NED (61), Down 14
de Bakker hasn't played since Indian Wells, and didn't defend his excellent result from last year's Barcelona, which saw him beat Alejandro Falla (129), Juan Carlos Ferrero (n/a) and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (17), before losing to Robin Soderling (4). Without those points, he drops a fair distance, out of the top 50.

Dropper of the Week (other):
Dominik Meffert GER (148), Down 37
The German veteran lost in the first round of qualifying for Barcelona, falling against Simon Greul (147). He also dropped a challenger win from last season, that included him beating Mello (114) and Junqueira (159).
