Djokovic cruised through his home tournament, playing only three matches, and playing just one top 50 opponent. Lopez did challenge him in the first set of the final, but other than that it was a dominant performance from the Serbian, still undefeated in 2011.

Juan Matin del Potro continues to build himself back towards the top ranking spots, and looked very good in winning at Estoril. He actually struggled somewhat in his first match against a lowly ranked home wildcard, but then went through the tournament without dropping a set, including a win against #4 Soderling and crushing Verdasco in the final.

Nikolay Davydenko, another player looking to rebuild his ranking, was the other winner on the week, taking the tournament in Munich. He didn't get any marquee wins along the way, but his last three matches against top 40 players were all solid wins to propel him to the title.

Riser of the Week (top 100):
Nikolay Davydenko RUS (34), Up 13
Davydenko's solid week gives him a nice boost, away from the edge of the top 50, where he had been sitting for the last few weeks. His solid wins over Cilic and Mayer were the main driving force for his rise.

Riser of the Week (other):
Stephane Robert FRA (115), Up 30
Robert looks like the kind of player who is too good for challengers, but not quite good enough for the ATP level. He won on clay at Ostrava, getting some useful victories over Lukas Rosol (135), Benoit Paire (175) and Sergei Bubka (212).

Dropper of the Week (top 100):
Ernests Gulbis LAT (58), Down 24
Gulbis had a great clay season last year, but his form this season could see him take a big drop. He lost last year's Rome run from his ranking this week, which included a win over Roger Federer (3), before falling in the semifinal to Rafael Nadal (1). This week, he played at Belgrade, but lost first round, going out easily to Illya Marchenko (136).

Dropper of the Week (other):
Jose Acasuso ARG (117), Down 26
The Argentine has not done much this season, and sees his ranking fall after dropping a good result from last year, in which he won the Tunis challenger, beating Pablo Andujar (82), Marsel Ilhan (142) and Daniel Brands (138). This week, he didn't play, and losing those wins sends him out of the top 100.
